innerestin’ to look at the numbers displayed along side my archive posts. I am getting some time to post again. Now if I could just do my homework! We are also starting to look at flights back to Scotland. Gotta plan long in advance.

This past Thursday I participated in the Town Hall Meeting on film industry in southern NM. It was really good to meet many people I had only spoken with or emailed. Thant was my suggestion when my group was asked about ways to bring North and South together… more F2F meetings. Another thing I thought might work is an exchange/apprentice program. Like student foreign exchange. Instead, students/faculty/staff are exchanged for a semester between the different universities and colleges.

Wow!

New Post

This is where I would add a new post.

Whew!

Wow! Have I been busy? Yes. I have been learning so much, I can’t even begin to sum it all up. I wish I had been keeping a better journal. Things are settling in a bit, students and faculty getting in the groove.

Recruitment

We were at the MVM Friday and Saturday recruiting students for Fall semester. Lots of interest for all the programs, nice to see.

Back…

I have not posted in a while. I have been really busy getting in to the new job. I have learned a great deal already and I sense it is just the beginning. School has not even begun.

I am working on some stop motion animation. My hope is to have 2 classes ready for next summer. The first is some basics on armature and puppet sand set building. The 2nd, lighting, camera, and basic animation techniques.
