I’m Ill : (

I started feeling a cold come on Saturday night. Nothing too bad but my nose was running like a tap. I thought it was due to all the smoking. I don’t smoke anymore but lots of people do over here. I think I’m cured for good. I had one puff of a cigarette and nearly choked. I gave Sid the rest of the pack I had bought (which he was quite happy about).

Anyway, Sunday I really started to feel pretty rough. Although a short walk through the woods did make me feel a bit better. Unfortunately, after the walk I was back to feeling bad. Sid had to come back to town for some messages so he took me back in.

Back in Aberdeen about 3PM. Deanne’s dad, George has also been ill too. I had enough energy to shower(finally), get some cold and flu medicine, and pass out for 1/2 hour before we had to go to dinner w/ Gareth, his lovely wife Anne, Nods, and his lovely wife Linda.

Gareth and Nods are former bandmates and dear friends of Deanne. They all used to rock out as mega-melodic rock gods… The Promise!

You can see I am looking a bit unhappy. Just because I am full of the cold.

I slept all morning thanks to the Night Nurse( Nyquil ). I have been slowly feeling better. Linda recommended some Manuka honey… so we got some along w/ traditional ‘cold stuff’; lots of fluids, fresh fruit, hot tea, soup, and chocolate cookies!

I’m up and about now. Still feeling under the weather… speaking of the weather, the day is gorgeous and spring like! Typical.

I figure I’ll just check my email, do some blogging and eat. Have a good day!
